Madeline Pagon SA - SRC Sponsored Junior Rider |
Hello, I am Madeline Pagon, I was born in 2002. I was Lucky enough to start riding before I could walk, thanks to my Mum and Dad. I enjoy living on a property at Hope Forest in South Australia with my Parents Kim and Cameron , My Brother Lachlan and My little sister Leiella. I started riding in the show ring was when I was three years old. I was fortunate enough to win many leading rein titles at Show Horse council shows and EA HOTY on different ponies and then was lucky enough to win my rider classes off the lead at Royals, SHC Qualifiers and EA Horse of the year from the age of 6. I have had the honour to win many rider classes over the years at these fantastic shows; it is still such as buzz to be chosen by the judges. My mum has had horses since she was born too. Her favourite show hack was “Salute” who sadly died just after I was born. Mum was also an international and national Carriage driving champion for a number or years. My mum always tells me to have fun and do my best. Win or lose it has to be fun. |
I have been lucky to own, ride and show many ponies, They are: We are very privilidged to be able to show horses as our hobby and to live in a country as safe and happy as Australia. 2012 Grand National Large Hunter Pony winner with Kolbeach Jack in the Box and top 10 in my rider. Monty can be tricky, He keeps me guessing. Winning at Grand Nationals was amazing and I will never forget galloping around the arena with that huge garland and everyone clapping. 2012 SA EA HOTY Winner Large Hunter Pony with Kolbeach Jack in the Box, This was a thrill for me as I had been working really hard at home with Monty and the reward was winning this class. I also play the piano and sing. I love to go to school with my friends, I love to write and I hope to grow up and be a vet. I thank God that I have fantastic parents who work day and night to help all of us do what we love to do. It is exciting to see my little sister starting out riding on her own and doing lead rein classes. When we are not at horse shows we are watching my brother on his motorbike or at Gymnastics. But most of all we are doing things as a family and being thankful for what we are able to do in a country like Australia. |
